Hi, my name is Arthur. I have been working to learn C so decided to join a forum that I can ask questions. I have done a little bit of C++ and some of the language in the Godot Game Engine GDScript and have just started with GTK+ in C. I am very beginner and a hobbyist. I have mostly only done tutorial exercises, have written a Windows console child level math game in C++ a child level math/spelling game in C++ and now in Linux terminal a C simple phone book just as an exercise.

From the topic categories I guess this is not the place for GTK+ but suggestions for learning resources are welcome.

I also wonder if it is acceptable to post functioning code for the purpose of critique? getting the simple phone book to work is one thing but knowing if it is sensible script is another...

Hey Arthur, Welcome to Code Forum! đź‘‹

You've come to the right place to get your programming questions answered. But, hey, lots of practice makes you perfect. I've built a few calculator apps, and once a game using C# - was it good? Not at all but the practice definitely helped me and others get to where we are now. But would be cool to see what you've made so far, do you have a portfolio or GitHub account?

All I need to see is demand for it then I'll add the forum. You can post a suggestion thread in the community hub, which can be found by clicking here.
