HTML & CSS Looking for WEB practice exercises for HTML & CSS

Hey There,

I'm a total beginner at HTML & CSS, and looking for some good practice exercises on the web!

Is there any coding exercises on the web where the website elements are broken down and pointed out VISUALLY on a page. Also showing the type of CSS properties and values that were used?

Basically, I am looking for a coding exercise w/ answers that breaks down the webpage and points out VISUALLY every single MAJOR element on the page along with CSS properties & value that was used?

Thanks in advance.

I don't know if there is any but what you can do is use a console (F12) and tweak existing websites, you can play around with html and css and javascript in there.
There is also something like this that I stumbled upon a while ago ( AceFrontend ), its interesting practice and a challenge for beginners, check it out.

Hi there,

I believe Code Academy would be your best friend for this! https://codeacademy.com It will go through most of the elements and how it works, it'll show how it works on the screen.
Thanks, I checked out codeacademy. They have a subscription based option which is probably better. What's your thoughts on https://www.freecodecamp.org/ ? Any input... I did a few exercises in it, looks pretty decent so far...

Ive done the Javascript course on FreeCodeCamp and I liked it. I cant speak to their HTML and CSS courses, but I imagine they are pretty good. I'd say give it a shot, it can't hurt!
