I found it because it kept registering on google, as the very first result when searching either; "coding forum", "programming forum", etc... Eventually i had to give it a shot, and i feel its design is lightyears ahead of every other forum. And its the first result, so thats like a double incentive.

Woohoo! And what are your thoughts, anything we could improve?

How are you liking Code Forum?

I found Code Forum on Google! I started working with HTML and CSS about 2 maybe 3 weeks ago and I am absolutely loving it! Every question I have had has been answered promptly and within 45 minutes!! I don't know if that was just coincidence or if there are that many people on around the world, but ever person who helped was very knowledgeable and was able to help me resolve my problems with ease and clarity!

I LOVE IT HERE!!

i think its as good and simple as it can get. Maybe getting more people involved by making a banner {codeforumlogoGreen} that people can embed in their posts, media, and websites etc. Like for example {Share Section} WantToShareCodeForum? - "Click/Copy <a href= yada yada /> this Banner's HTML to the Clipboard.... Share it on your Website!"....
It's probably already a section, but thats all i could think of.

We could do a group project? Come up with an idea as a group (web page, app, game, etc) that would be easy enough for beginners (such as myself) to participate in.
Example:
Make a Video game for smart phones, let the more advanced people take care of that. Come up with "advertisement" for it via web page/ video productions/ ads/ what have you.
Community brainstorm a base for generalized project that every subject could cover and participate in.
As I'm learning more, I'm wanting to do something bigger. Something that has purpose and isn't just something to do when I want to do it.
Not sure if that makes sense, but that's my suggestion

O wow nice. Thats a slam dunk idea.

Now that I have read again, I feel that an entire site involved project may be a bit overwhelming. Maybe instead of that we break it down into classes (groups)
HTML/CSS/JavaScipt have a project to work on
Game Dev has a project
Etc.
Each group has a project to work on together and bounce ideas and codes off each other.

I think it would be a great way to get more community involvement as well as a better learning curve for those, such as myself, who are just learning and want to apply what we have learned to a larger scaled project.

I've already been looking into careers but they all require at least 1 year experience and I'm only 3 weeks in

I LOVE the idea! I also like the example mobile game idea, I think that's pretty cool. I have a pretty big project in mind that I want to have the community help with. However, we tried this at one point but there just wasn't enough interest at the time. But this is something I do want to have eventually here at Code Forum, once we grow a little larger. Maybe perhaps having smaller projects in the meantime might suffice, what do you think?

If you are ever interested in working with others on a project you can always post in the Project Marketplace.

I do believe @Malcolm invited me to CF from a different coding server on Discord... If my memory serves me right lol
Hahaha yes that's right.

I think starting small to find those who are interested would be a great idea! As the projects start to get more involvement, we can move on to bigger projects!

Because of this site (and YouTube) I have become addicted to writing code. I'm pretty sure my wife is upset with me at the moment because of how much time I've been spending at the computer!
