JavaScript Animation on Firefox

javascript forum,
I have made several attempts at getting a .gif animation working on FF 108.4.2 none have worked. I set the proper things in FF and read, many, many web sites on the subject and copied a lot of supposedly "working code" but nothing works. I know the .gif file is functional but I can only get the first frame to display. I read all the previous posts here and tried most of their suggestions but they didn't help.

I use HTML for a canvas and the rest is javascript. I can post the code if needed.

Any suggestions?
