JavaScript chrome not running js command in developer tools console

Chrome is refusing to run my javascript commands inside developer console.I am able to run console commands in other browsers on my computer.please see sample image atttached below.

I fixed the issue.my default levels were turned off.I clicked on the drop down and enabled default levels in chrome.. it is displaying messages again.

Maybe try uninstall and reinstall or update.
Also, some sites block stuff like that so maybe try at "about:blank".

Okay, then bug with Chrome or computer, report it and maybe they know what could cause this problem.
I have a computer running Windows 10 with current Chrome version for it and it ran with correct output.
I also see your console said it had one issue, so maybe check that.
