Hi,
during the last 10 years I developed and run an app called Fahrplanalarm (currently German only in Google PlayStore and Microsoft Store). It gets messages about disruptions on regional public transport from multiple sources, analyzes the text and extracts the affected line(s) that are mentioned in the text. The source of the messages can be any social media page, company homepage, official APIs etc.
Now I like to bring the App to the next level. That means
As I am home in Dotnet, I like to use Dotnet to create that app for all platforms. For the new client I tested Dotnet MAUI and Avalonia for the next version of the app. Both have their pros and cons and I have no real favorite for it.
At the server backend, where all the messages are collected, a webservice is running to provide the interface to the clients that serves all the information needed by the client.
There are currently more than 3000 active installations and more than 11.000 downloads. The app is financed via in app ads or a one-time fee to not see any ads anymore.
My target is, after the new app version is done, to make the app available also for other regions and increase the number users and with it the revenue by ads or abonnements.
If you are interested at joining the project, have at least basic C# experience and can invest some of your time into the project, I like to welcome you onboard.

- an iOS version
- One App for all regions (currently every region has its own app)
- New "userfeed" feature to allow users to post disruptions on their own.
