''Generate numbers from -35 to 70 until the sum of the positive numbers is at least twice the sum of the negative numbers''
i need this task completed in c++, rand generates from 0 to however much you make the limit, how would i make it use negatives as well? i'm fairly new to coding.

Hey,

If you have a pseudo-random number in the range [0, x], then subtracting 5 from it will make it become in the range [-5, x-5]. Look at the following example:
C:
// In the range [0, 20]
int n = rand() % 21;
// In the range [-10, 10]
int n2 = (rand() % 21) - 10;

error: invalid operands of types ‘int() throw ()’ and ‘int’ to binary ‘operator%’
nmbr = (rand % 70) - 35;
