I am cjreynolds - been programming in my spare time for many years while working as an electronic technician and IT support specialist, but for the last 20 years I have been making a living strictly as a web developer. I have stubbornly refused to own or use smartphones for years now, but recently my ex-wife gave me one of her old smartphones, so I'm finally embracing the 21st century.
If I'm to use one of these things without hating it, I need to learn how to program it - how to write "apps".
I've written some pretty impressive applications for the PC in the past, and I'm hoping my previous experience will be helpful in this endeavor. I'm an old dog learning new tricks, so I'll probably need plenty of tender care and advice, and I'm hoping to find some new friends here to help me in this new world
