PHP Help with a theme I bought

So I'm working on a WordPress website. I'm having issues with a theme I paid for. I had the company that designed the theme 'fix' a couple other issues for me but their 'solutions' consist of disabling features and not actually fixing the code. So I don't really want them to mess with it anymore.

Right now, I want to fix a 'Learn More' button that should serve as an internal link to my site. I input the desired URL in the only place that I can and it just doesn't do anything.

I also want to change the timed interval of the slider on my homepage. There is an option to change the interval but it doesn't change the timing at all.

If this isn't the right place, can someone point me in the right direction?
