what's a simple way to add a share page button on a webpage, visible at mobile sizes, which let's the user share the URL assigned to the button via their social media apps?

is it possible in html, like using a <link> tag but the opposite 😅 instead of the link element sending somewhere, it shares a link to locally installed apps for the user to choose, like WhatsApp or Instagram or email...

Hey there, I found this for WhatsApp which seems to be what you're looking for.

You would use a link like https://wa.me/?text=Hello%20World, and if opened on a phone, it will automatically open WhatsApp and give a list of contacts to send to.

There may be something similar for Instagram, and for email, you can use a mailto: link like this: mailto:?subject=Hello%20World&body=Hi
