Hi there, quick question for ya...do you know by any chance if the platform you are using has an API for bot building? If so, there may be a chance you may not be connecting to it. Really hard to tell from the bit of code you posted.

sorry for not clarifying, the code is running on MetaTrader 5 and is written in meta editor it is connected but when I run the backtesting the bot does not make any trades. i have made a few bots before using this platform and they work, the problem is not the lot amount or the connection.
