PHP New App Help

Messifanra

New Coder
Hello,

Before I ask my question, I just want to let people know that I know nothing about coding. Okay, so here is my issue; as mentioned, coding is not my strong suit, but here is my app idea. So here is the basic gist of my idea, I want to make an app that when you input your item name into the catalog, it will tell if you the item is recyclable or trash. I want to advance this further, but this is just where I am at now. I have created a flowchart on my algorithm, and I have a plan of execution. So I will make a database, but I dont know how; I hear that a PHP database is good, but how do I create one. Can someone help?

Thanks!

What you are looking for is quite simple, so you will need a MySQL database, here is where your items will be kept to be searched. then you need a PHP query to connect to the database and take out what ever has been searched for. It's simple if you know what your doing, your idea isn't bad either with the way the world is going. I could be convinced to team up with you if your intrested :D
