Python python school question

I have 1 question I am on. It is self study course so I do not have access to a professor only my book. the question is:

Create a list of the odd numbers between m and n (assume m is odd; also, include n-- if its odd-- in the list), and associate it with the variable odds.

what I got was

odds = range(m,n,2)
mylist=[]

for i in odds:
mylist.append(i)
