JavaScript Run JavaScript if cookie exist

Hi everyone,

I would like to run a JavaScript if a cookie exist ->

[CODE lang="javascript" highlight="5,6" title="within my html page"]<script>
const setTheme = theme => document.documentElement.className = theme;

let currentTH = getCookie("theme");
if (currentTH != "") {
setTheme(currentTH);alert(currentTH);
}
</script>[/CODE]

But is seem that line 5 & 6 are not executing :/ , any ideas ?

Try this instead. If this don't work You might have the Cookie name wrong.
Code:
var currentTH = getCookie("theme");

if (currentTH == null) {
// do cookie doesn't exist stuff;
}
else {
// do cookie exists stuff
}

Thx @OldMan , but I get (in the WebBrowser console)

console said:
Uncaught ReferenceError: getCookie is not defined

and I understand now my error, I was thinking getCookie was a default function, but no. instead it's document.cookie but this will pull all the cookies :/

I'll work on the back-end (python ❤️ ) to do acheive what I need. Thanks.
