HTML & CSS Scaling issue

When I load my angular application it appears to be zoomed. When I do browser zoom out to 70% it looks fine.
I had a workaround by applying zoom:0.7 to body. But I'm facing issues with ng-select drop-down alignment due to the zoom:0.7 when I remove zoom drop-down alignment is fine.

Is everything really zoomed - images, etc, - or is it just fonts scaled up? Do you have a default font-size set on the html/body?

Fonts scaled up. Yes I have font-size: 16px in body tag.

Still sounds like there is something effecting that root font size. Did you confirm there isn't anything else effecting that? Any third-party css?

I'm using primeng, bootstrap 4. I commented out the css files in the angular.json for primeng
