  • Guest, before posting your code please take these rules into consideration:
    • It is required to use our BBCode feature to display your code. While within the editor click < / > or >_ and place your code within the BB Code prompt. This helps others with finding a solution by making it easier to read and easier to copy.
    • You can also use markdown to share your code. When using markdown your code will be automatically converted to BBCode. For help with markdown check out the markdown guide.
    • Don't share a wall of code. All we want is the problem area, the code related to your issue.

C# What features of Visual Studio to learn first?

I have learned a little of the "ToolBox" although im not sure what features to learn first/next and in what order.
I have used textboxes and set their font/text size/color/background image/scroll bars and such.

Hi there,
Coming from experience, the best features to learn from Visual Studio are the Debugger, and the Nuget Package Manager. The debugger will allow you to go through your code line by line and inspect the result of each line when your application is running. This is extremely crucial especially when your application breaks. Nuget Package Manager is your go-to place when you need to add packages/libraries that you may need for your application.
