JavaScript How to draw a PacMan with sin/cos in JavaScript (for beginners)?

I see. Indeed a Pacman with just one arc and one draw operation 😲 That example code works ok. I would assume you copied that code to start with, verified that it works, then started changing it ? Did you consider backtracking on these changes to see what broke it ? That would be the normal...

C# How to use the Border.BackgroundSizing and Border.BackgroundTransition properties in C#

Thanks, I'll give that a go. I have been staying clear of XAML so far but this seems an opportunity to learn. Whether I'll be able to help you is another matter... you're probably way ahead of me in C#.

C# How to use the Border.BackgroundSizing and Border.BackgroundTransition properties in C#

I'd like to try this out but it does not look to me like the C# code is complete (no Main ?). Could you please check and/or post complete code ?

JavaScript How to draw a PacMan with sin/cos in JavaScript (for beginners)?

Hiya, Can you show/explain what you wanted the result to look like ? Not sure how you would "draw a PacMan" with only two graphics operations. And have you checked the runtime values of your variables ? For example the calculated value of X is -80.9, so you are outside the canvas. You'll need to...

PHP PHP Warning: Undefined array key

Hey folks, I hope someone can help explaining two PHP warnings. My calling code is xhr.open('POST', "manfac.php", false); xhr.setRequestHeader("Content-Type", "application/x-www-form-urlencoded"); xhr.send(`func=facturen&name=*`); My PHP file manfac.php starts with these lines: <?php $func =...

PHP The most basic PHP program is not working correctly

Haha ... that is a bit embarrassing 🤣 Actually I (or anyone else) should have seen that right away in your screenshot. Guess I was too focused on the output to even notice the environment 🙄 Don't forget to mark your last comment as the solution so that the issue gets the Solved status.

Python Bubble sort with iteration print

Oh right, that was not clear to me. In fact the entire post was not clear to me. But that does not matter now 😁 I seem to remember the Solved button being on the right side of the header but I could be wrong and am unable to verify this, not having an open question.

PHP The most basic PHP program is not working correctly

XAMPP is nice ! Great to have everything in one folder, and managed from one console. I just installed version 8.1.2 and can confirm that your PHP (copied from your initial post) works fine, with or without the <p>. So these folks are right, it works out of the box. I can only assume that...

PHP The most basic PHP program is not working correctly

Oh, XAMPP. I had to look that up 😁 They might well be right. But perhaps you missed some configuration option during installation. It can't harm to remove it and install a recent version it and be on the lookout for anything related to PHP. If it's all installed and configured correctly there is...

PHP The most basic PHP program is not working correctly

Have you configured your Apache webserver for PHP ? IMO there is no point in trying to help you until that gets clear. But I'll stop asking.

    C++ Activity.h is defined 2 times.

The solution suggested by @MilesWeb is the way to go. Write your activity.h like this #ifndef ACTIVITY_H #define ACTIVITY_H // Actual contents of header file #endif This way when you include it a second time, it falls right through. This is how all include files in standard libraries work.

PHP The most basic PHP program is not working correctly

I guess you mean the htdocs folder ? But the script did work, albeit incorrectly, so it seems it was in the right place (whatever that is) and there should be no need to move it anywhere else. Make sure that you know and understand the correct location, and that you have only one version of the...

PHP The most basic PHP program is not working correctly

The source code if fine. You see the "weird ending" when the file is being interpreted as HTML. Not sure why, but it doesn't really matter. Yes it certainly is. Let me ask you again, have you actually configured your webserver for PHP ? There are plenty tutorials and documents about how to do...

Java Error in Running a Java Program

Indeed. And the fact this OP is one of those who dump a question but do not bother to even acknowledge any helpful replies 🙄

Python calculator works fine but after one operation its result is always 0

Impressive. Whether it helps the OP, if (s)he is still there, I am not sure. Personally I don't think all this abstraction makes the calculator any easier to understand and maintain. But I guess it depends on what you are used to. For novice users, probably not the optimal approach way to go. I...

JavaScript Pause after each iteration AND update body?

It's an interesting question. Have you got it sorted out ?

PHP The most basic PHP program is not working correctly

Have you actually configured your webserver for php ? It needs to know that an URL with php extension is to be handled by PHP. Your file is apparently being processed as HTML, because you get the exact same output when you open the file locally, without using an URL. Consult the documentation of...

Python Bubble sort with iteration print

So have you still got a problem or not ? If so, it might help posting the code.

PHP The most basic PHP program is not working correctly

Have you by any chance named your source file something.html ? It should have the suffix .php to work correctly.

    C to js

Of course there is. But you'll have to be a lot more specific. JS in a browser cannot call C, but Node.js can.
