  • Guest, before posting your code please take these rules into consideration:
    • It is required to use our BBCode feature to display your code. While within the editor click < / > or >_ and place your code within the BB Code prompt. This helps others with finding a solution by making it easier to read and easier to copy.
    • You can also use markdown to share your code. When using markdown your code will be automatically converted to BBCode. For help with markdown check out the markdown guide.
    • Don't share a wall of code. All we want is the problem area, the code related to your issue.

GIF shows where to locate </> in the thread and or post editor toolbar.
To learn more about how to use our BBCode feature, review our "How to post your code into threads" here.

Hi Everyone,

I am a complete newbie when it comes to coding but I am helping someone out with their Wordpress website, so just warning you!

Basically I want to recreate the "Learn More" button on the Solid Solutions website (link below) and how the colour "swooshes" from left to right if that makes sense?
https://www.solidsolutions.co.uk/

Any help on this would be much appreciated

Hey! I'm just taking a look into this! I'll let you know what I find.

If you right mouse click the button and choose "Inspect" you can basically see how this is implemented. In the right debugger pane you see the CSS for the button's class .MastheadCTA. I guess it is the background property that does the trick (perhaps in combination with -webkit-transition, I'm not sure). You can probably work it out from here ?
