HTML & CSS PageSpeed Insights bad score

I am unsure if this is the correct place for topic, if it's not, please move to the correct forum. Anyway..

I redesigned my website and after checking its speed, it failed misserably here https://pagespeed.web.dev/

For phone:


And for PC:


Another example are large images (they say). It takes (by their opinion) 22.000ms!!! No way. Whole website loads in 2 seconds on phone. I don't understand this data.



What can I do to imrpove my website to pass this? I also have issue with third-party scripts.. And that comes from youtube mostly. I don't know what to do.

Usually they give steps to improve on the site. Are you testing on phone over wifi? How big is that image? Hard to do anything without at least a link to your site.

Maybe try more compression?

I am doing right now on test these changes in terms of size. They are compressed in terms of size and also have webp compatiblity (only main page).

I am testing on my PC with cable connection.
They do say what to do however that's elvish for me.

Yes, I know that. I've seen that many times and did plenty of things to fix that but even tough it works for PC, for phone it doesn't change at all. They ask me to use modern formats and when I do, no change. They tell me to reduce image size, I do so and no change on mobile...

Because of the heavy use of images and video, you might try using an image hosting/optimization service like https://cloudinary.com/

You might consider streaming the videos in an HTML video player rather than embedding them.

You have a crazy amount of 3rd party scripts on there (home page). Maybe look at whether you really need them or not.

This comes due ads. Without ads it is significantly improved. It has nothing to do with my scripts.

You are trying to tell me that having images locally saved is not a good idea or? I was even thinking for main page to load them from DB because they will be changable.
