PHP Why PHP is more popular?

Can you tell me some reasons why  PHP is more popular? I knew Asp.net is very popular years ago but now I didn't see everyone talk about this any more, they are tending to use PHP to build their websites. Does PHP have more benefits over other programming languages?

I'm not all too familiar with PHP but I recently heard that PHP was actually falling and that Node.js is being used to replace it.

PHP is a great language and has been used for many years so its popularity is for how long its been around and how easy it is to learn not only that popular systems use it such as this forum software, wordpress, etc etc ....and is something i use often and very familiar with, though it is true its falling due to AI Deep learning and a lot of companies using React stack so with AI Deep Learning a lot are using python as it works wonders with it, with most companies using React Stacks JavaScript has had its highs.

PHP does look like a great Language which is why I want to learn it. I also want to learn it so I can make Account Registrations for Websites.

I don’t think PHP will be going anywhere soon as a lot of Forums/Forum Software use it and it’s also used for things like Accounts. Sure it may be dieing but it will still remain around for a very long time.

If you look at the latest frameworks like symfony or laravel, i love symfony best :) its very simple to create a simple user registration system, but it is wise to learn core php first before heading into full stacks so you understand the language.

Yeah I have watched some tutorials on php frameworks like laravel. I really find that they are extremely capable and interesting to learn. I want to learn them so bad. I will probably buy some more books off Amazon for things like that. I have never watched any tutorials on symfony though but I have heard about it.

I’m thinking I will start learning a bit of PHP now, maybe do my web development course and learn PHP on side so I can implement some PHP things.

I just pre-order a php book by Jon Duckett off Amazon, patiently waiting!

The question is popular for what. PHP is the market leader for run-it-yourself web apps like wordpress, mediawiki, basically every forum software, and most of the major CMS systems like Drupal and Joomla. PHP is not the market leader for new custom application development. The reason for this is that PHP is dead simple to run and manage, but technologies like Node and the various Java frameworks generally have better performance and have better developer experience for rapid application development.
