JavaScript System for clients and engineers

Hello,

I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction with this project as I am fairly new to programming. I am looking to develop a system which will notify both the client and engineer for an upcoming visit. I would like the notification, (whether its email or push notification) to be sent 4 weeks prior to the visit. This information should outline which machine which is needed to be serviced and on which date/time. If possible, this notification can be sent with an attached form for the client to outline any queries they have or changes which need to be made which can then be communicated back to the engineer.

I hope someone can help me with this

It seems you are asking someone to do your job for you from start to end. It does not work like that.
If you cannot code at all, you should not have taken on the project.
Just being "fairly new to programming" does not excuse you from giving it your very best shot.
Only then you can post here if you get stuck on something specific. Ok?

As I stated in my original message, this is a personal project, it is not something I have "taken on". This is my first time on the forum and thought I might receive some guidance on how to approach the problem. I am also confused on your comment referencing that I am asking someone to do it for me, this is not the case. I hoped to use this forum of a way to seek out the best techniques and approach I should take to do this, at no point did I ask for a full solution with code.

Ah, sorry if I misconstrued your post. Rather jumping to conclusions... it's just that there are so many people posting on forums expecting others to do their assignment !

So, given you posted this in the Javascript forum, I assume you want to write a web page which gathers the needed information and then send out an email ? I would not consider push notifications as you want the client to be able to reply. I also would not consider a form attachment to the mail unless you can foresee all the possible things a client might want to bring up. And email fill-in forms are annoying anyway. Just let them reply in their own words.

I'd just start on it, and worry about details and techniques in due time.

Thank you for understanding, this has been very helpful and will allow me to go straight into it! I can appreciate a lot of people here expect someone to do the work for them so I should have disclosed that in my initial post. Thank you again for the help!
