I pressed some keys to undo some changes in my vs code editor. Subsequently I am seeing the .vscode folder in the explorer on the left hand side of editor. Is it normal to see this .vscode folder in the project folder or I have inadveryently pressed some keys on my keyboard to bring this folder up on my vs code editor in the explorer section. screenshot attached.

Normally, the .vscode, or any folder with the `.vs` prefix isn't included in the project, so you won't normally see it in the solution explorer. To exclude, simply right click on it in the solution explorer, and when the menu shows up, select on `Exclude from Project` option

I could not get the solution from Antero360 to work but, did get this one from this link to work.
exclude files and folders. It explains how to go into the settings and add patterns to exclude from your projects.
It allowed me to remove the .vscode and others from view.
@menator01 probably because, that's the typical way to exclude files/folders in Visual Studio itself lol. But there was something similar to it for VSC.. just couldn't think of it at the top of my head, or look it up due to I was in a meeting for work when I responded lol

when you right click in the explorer area there is a option to 'reveal in File explorer'. i might have clicked that option by mistake.
