PHP Looking for recommendation of open source php SMS text messaging API

Hi, I am looking around for a reliable and popular open source SMS text messaging API in PHP. I would like to integrate SMS 2FA into my software. Any recommendations would be great, especially if you have used several in the past.

Thanks Dave 🙂

@durangod you won't get such open source API for messaging.
I have used Twilio for a client project to trigger SMS.

Thanks, that is the first one i looked into but it does not have very good reviews. I then checked out a few others including a really cool paid SMS provider called SMSAPI but their requirements where just a bit much for me (deposits from a company account via wire and company verification process) as my project is not even on the market yet. I respect their business and going the extra mile to be safe but its just too many actions i have to take for this project.

Twillio has a bad reputation for being hard to get going and also for horrible customer service, something i do not want to put my software users through ya know. I am still searching and i have looked into a few others but some are not PHP based.

Thanks so much for your reply.... i will keep that in mind 🙂
