Image Cropping and Loading Issues on Website (HTML/CSS Issue)

I agree that it looks like a connection issue. For image prep, we use applications on Mac called ImageOptim or ImageOpt to compress images. Our workflow might be abnormal but we work off designs from designers. Photos are exported 1.5 - 2 times the size in the layout for web so as to keep them...

    Custom cursor over html iframe

    Try wrapping the iframe in a div and add a cursor for that wrapper class. For example: main{ cursor: pointer; } or .wrapper{ cursor: pointer; }

Sticky columns with scrollable columns not overlapping

Perhaps this may help. Good info in the comments as well: https://css-tricks.com/a-table-with-both-a-sticky-header-and-a-sticky-first-column/

    Linking a CSS background-image

@Edrol97 Be aware that this will absolutely work, however if you have a short page the background image will only be behind the area taken up by the content as the body is only as tall as your content. You can specify a 100% (or 100vh) height/min-height on body element to ensure it fills the...

    Simple layout alignment problem

This would allow you to center the headline like you are after, however you would need to add padding to the header so as to keep the headline from crashing into the image if the headline runs long. Having the headline and buttons line up flush left is a bit tricky. Are you trying to make this...

HTML & CSS Color generator code for Jcink mobile view

It's not just being hidden from view. It's literally not in the code that the browser receives to display the page. Whatever is controlling whether or not you see a mobile layout or desktop layout - which doesn't appear to be the CSS - is most likely also controlling whether you get the color...

HTML & CSS Color generator code for Jcink mobile view

I don’t see why not but I don’t know what’s keeping it from being rendered. You’d need to track that down. It will probably need some mobile layout tweaks.

HTML & CSS Color generator code for Jcink mobile view

It appears to not even be in the DOM on mobile so some script/component isn't even being sent to mobile devices. When I inspected Safari on my phone, it isn't even in the DOM. https://cln.sh/Zz61gSRhTRX08q4sJqpd The phone in the screenshot is my actual iPhone being mirrored on my laptop. It is...

    JavaScript Need help using localstorage

As I said, I haven't done much with localstorage. Maybe this can help: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Web_Storage_API/Using_the_Web_Storage_API

How to get form elements horizontally aligned?

    There is more than one way around this but it requires additional elements. Please note the 2 different structures. <!DOCTYPE html> <html lang="en"> <head> <meta charset="UTF-8"> <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0"> <title>Document</title>...

Really silly question but... gallery background fully covered by image

Thanks for the link. I am seeing quite a few js errors in the console. Maybe if you squash those, things might work better. It feels like you are generating sliders but not removing them when the close button is clicked, maybe?

Really silly question but... gallery background fully covered by image

Links are best. I see 2 issues already with the code you shared (.slide-show_10container does not also have the .slide-show_containers class and bg images won't work for us ) which makes troubleshooting difficult. There may be other styles effecting your page.

I haven't done much with localstorage, but wouldn't you want to get 'name' inside of 'userInput'?

How do I loop and move a transparent gif on second play?

I'd suggest looking into a css reset as it makes life easier: https://jakelazaroff.com/words/my-modern-css-reset/#user-content-fn-ie https://www.joshwcomeau.com/css/custom-css-reset/

How do I loop and move a transparent gif on second play?

Actually, looks like you can solve the scrolling by putting box-sizing: border-box; on .game-container. I use box-sizing: border-box; on all pages as part of my reset.css like this: html { box-sizing: border-box; } *, *:before, *:after { box-sizing: inherit; } If you aren't doing this...

How do I loop and move a transparent gif on second play?

Nice. You might want to put overflow:hidden on the gif's wrappers to avoid the unwanted horizontal scrollbars

How do I loop and move a transparent gif on second play?

It is also possible to use multiple background-images for an element, such as a div. div{ background-image: url('img/worm.gif'), url('img/worm.gif'), url('img/worm.gif'), url('img/worm.gif'); background-position: left top, center top...

How do I loop and move a transparent gif on second play?

Are you referring to the worms on the page background, or the actual background of the little holes?
