I've created an HTML and CSS file pair that displays a navbar that I want to use on my website. The pair works and displays the navbar just as I want it to. When I try to cut and paste the HTML into my index.html file and the CSS into my CSS file, it breaks the display. Obviously there is...- RHH

I've done something to my code or to my environment that caused an image to stop working. I've searched online and read several articles and tried the usual suggestions for verifying names, paths, etc. and clearing cache. I've done all of that but cannot find my problem. I think I have a...- RHH

Diving In with a Question about the <img>Tag
If you read my intro, you'll know that I'm diving back into web page development after a long absence. I'm going thru the W3C tutorials again, but they don't always provide answers to things, especially if the issues are related but not technically about code interpreters. Such is the case...- RHH

Howdy, everyone!
I live in Texas so that opening shouldn't be a surprise I'm 81 yo, retired for 20 years, and a long time IT professional starting back in the '60s. I wrote my first mainframe program in '65 or '66 but lost touch with code as I progressed in my career. I did create a web page for my high...- RHH
