Python accessing an item in a list that is an object attribute

lets you say you create a class of objects that has a list as one of their attributes. This list is different for each instance of the class. How do I accces individual items in the list in a while loop?

Here is some sample code:

class Silly_thing:
def init(self, location, cost):
self.location = location
self.cost = cost
self.components = []
def silly(self,silliness):
self.compenents.append(silliness)

silly_list = []

silly_thing_1 = Silly_thing(1,5.47)

silly_thing_2 = Silly_thing(2,3.78)
silly_thing_3 = Silly_thing(3,8.7)

meh = 0
while < len(other_list_1):
silly_thing_1.silliness(int(other_list_1))

etc.

silly_list.extend([silly_thing_1,silly_thing_2,silly_thing_3])

#HERE IS THE IMPORTANT PART!!

meh_2 = 0

while meh_2 < len(silly_list):
serious_business = 0
while serious_business < len(silly_list[meh_2]].components)
if
silly_list_2[meh_2].components[serious_business].cost > 5.00:
cost_analytics.append(int(meh_2))

##For reference, the components is itself a reference to another list, silly_things_2. I get an error message about syntax. Please Help##
