Autoplay background video loop on mobile (404 page)

My current 404 page works perfectly on desktop but the video element of it doesn't autoplay on mobile. how can I ensure this?

What phone OS? Do you have reduced motion accessibility settings turned on? Does the video have an audio track?

iOS. Have no idea whether it autoplays on Android OS. The video doesn't have an audio track and reduced accessibility settings being on or off doesn't seem to make a difference.

Right, it's getting better, now it plays automatically on second attempt of loading the page on mobile but still doesn't play straight away.

Not sure. We have a video working using those attributes with no issues.

Also, I recommend browserstack.com for testing in various devices. Real devices.
