Just beginning to program for mobile devices, looking for advice on writing speech controlled apps.
Of PC programming languages I am most proficient in Visual Basic, and wrote a pretty sharp speech controlled MP3 player with VB in the 1990s (when almost nobody was doing speech control).
I have also dabbled in c#, c++ and machine language - I do prefer object oriented languages.
I'm good with javascript, ASP and HTML/CSS, though I doubt that scripting languages are what I need for this.
Hoping that some folks more experienced than me with mobile app programming can point me in the right direction.
