JavaScript Check if all radio groups have a selection.

I'm population a page with a dynamic number of radio groups. I'm looping through items in a database and giving 3 options for each row

<input type="radio" name="<?php echo $row['id']; ?>_a" value="1">
<input type="radio" name="<?php echo $row['id']; ?>_b" value="1">
<input type="radio" name="<?php echo $row['id']; ?>_c" value="1">

Given I don't know how many rows there will be I can't hard code a check on the input name.

I do however need to check that a selection has been made for each row.

But after you've looped through your database table and created all the radiobuttons, you DO know how many rows there are, right ? So can't you program a loop through them to check if one is selected in each row ?

My thinking was that since you use PHP to generate your HTML, you could also use PHP to generate (some of) your JS. But I'm not much of a PHP buff so I could be way off here. And it could really bloat your page I guess.
Alternatively you could give all these radio buttons a special (unique) id, then loop through them with getElementsByID(), grabbing 3 of them at a time.
