Does anyone know how to make this work?

I'm trying to get the alphabetical sorting to work properly. I have the layout but I don't have the javascript for it.

Well, are you looking for JavaScript code if yes then you can try this code:

function sortList() {
    const ul = document.getElementById('sortableList');
    const listItems = ul.querySelectorAll('li');

    const sortedItems = Array.from(listItems).sort((a, b) => {
        const textA = a.textContent.toLowerCase();
        const textB = b.textContent.toLowerCase();
        return textA.localeCompare(textB);
    });

    sortedItems.forEach(item => ul.appendChild(item));
}

Thanks
