HTML Dropdown list not working on mobile

[KIlona]

<select onchange="window.open(this.options[this.selectedIndex].value)">
    <option class="disabled">Buy the paperback</option>
    <option value="http://www.amazon.com">Amazon</option>
    <option value="https://blackwells.co.uk/">Blackwells</option>
    <option value="https://www.bookdepository.com/">Book Depository</option>
    <option value="https://www.barnesandnoble.com/">Barnes & Noble</option>
</select>

Can anyone tell me why this dropdown selection list isn't working on mobile? When I select an item, it just ... doesn't do anything - it doesn't take me to the chosen webpage. This is on my Wordpress site. It works brilliantly on desktop.

Thanks!

Hi! Maybe try add

.dropdown-backdrop{
    position: static;
}

to the css file. If you need help you can find it here.

The problem is pop-up blocker. I just tested it on my website and it is working on my Android, firefox and chrome. I don't know anything about other browsers bcos I only use firefox and chrome.
