Hello, my name is Jake or Jacob or "simple" as a nickname. I have been programming for 14 (soon 15) years as a self taught hobby and part side gig, but I am now working on getting a degree in Computer Science to formalize all of it. I found this website by chance and decided to join, for better or for worse. I look forward to participating in some interesting discussions.

That's awesome! Happy to see you are going after your passion. I've been teaching myself to code for about the same amount of time as well! Great to hear you are going to school for computer science, personally wanted to do the same as well. How are you finding the courses?
