Hello

I've been coding websites (my own, mostly) since 1994, but I haven't really kept up with the technology (php, CSS, JavaScript, etc) because this isn't my full time occupation. I try to keep my site as simple as possible, because it doesn't need to be overly complicated. I'm a professional photographer, photography instructor, sometime graphic designer, author, artist. I jumped on here primarily because I've run into a problem with my site I can't solve and I'm open to alternative options to fix it.

Hello @Blueplanetphoto, welcome to Code Forum! 🙂

You have quite the resume! May I ask what made you get into coding in the first place?

Feel free to ask it in the related forum sections (remember to use the </> formatting for code!), we'd be happy to help! And we look forward to seeing you around the community!

Thanks! I was just starting grad school (biology) in 1994 and three years prior to that, while I was an undergrad, was looking into, interestingly enough, starting an online bookstore. But the ability to do ecommerce in those early days was non-existent, there wasn't anyone around that I knew who could take on that task, and I didn't have the coding chops myself to take it on. So I kept with biology instead. But, when I entered grad school I needed to set up a website and decided to do that on my own, so learned HTML and the rest is more or less history.
