How Can Small Businesses Improve Their Local Online Presence?

Hi everyone,

I run a small boutique in my city and I’ve been hearing a lot about Local SEO lately. I understand it’s important for appearing in local search results, but I’m not sure where to start. What are the most effective strategies for improving Local SEO for a small business?

Are there specific tools, practices, or common mistakes I should be aware of?

Any tips on optimizing Google Business Profile, local citations, or reviews would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your advice!

Hi.

To be honest, SEO is a bit out dated method. Specially after AI has pushed the classic way to search stuff with Google etc.

Make FB, IG etc. profiles, make them good and post things that gets positivie feedback. Likes. By maintaining an active social media profile, you achieve much more than SEO tactics
Google profile is good with opening times etc.

But SEO... many small business does just fine with out such.

Hi there, can you please explain to the OP how doing so would help improve SEO?
If you're business has too much competition for keywords; you can reduce that to the location of your business with JavaScript API from google maps that works directly with .JSON files

Code:
