Python How to put a required url fragment in the outgoing html file?

My web server written in Python does send a new html file to the client as the result. If that file does contain code 'for example '<a id="fragment001"></a>', then the url fragment (for example '#fragment001)' needs to be placed. However I do not see the possibility for such a placement. If it is not supported by Python, then I wonder how the following code in Javascript could be coded correctly:
Code:
 if(document.getElementById('weburlfrg')){

    urlfrg = document.getElementById('weburlfrg').value;

    if(urlfrg !== ''){

      /* HOW can be coded here in order to scroll to the id containing that url fragment? */

   }

}

maybe try this

Code:
if (document.getElementById('weburlfrg')) {
    const urlfrg = document.getElementById('weburlfrg').value;
    if (urlfrg !== '') {
        const element = document.getElementById(urlfrg);
        if (element) {
            // Scroll to the element
            element.scrollIntoView({ behavior: 'smooth' }); // Smooth scrolling
            // Optionally, update the URL fragment
            window.location.hash = urlfrg;
        } else {
            console.warn(`Element with id "${urlfrg}" not found.`);
        }
    }
}
