HTML I lost my notepad html file...

[coding_fromzero]

Hello,

Disclaimer: It is a bit difficult to explain myself. I don't have the best words to describe the issue I'm having but I hope somebody out there will understand! 🙂

I hope you're having a great day. Mine started a bit rocky... Oh dear, I seem to no longer have my notepad file of code to edit. I still have the "internet-link" to see the results of the code, but the notepad file *POOF!*

I'd like to know if there is a way to retrieve the code I've written from the "internet-link" of the results of the code.

Thank you for taking the time to read and consider my issue,

Brandi

I found a solution...Though I couldn't find the file, I was able to look up the code with the page source. This experience gave me the chance to learn something new!

Um... OR I would have the same issue tomorrow because in order to open it in notepad, I need to right-click and "Open with" notepad. 🥴

If you have the file online than of course you can retrieve the file.

Once you have the file in notepad save it to the desktop.
BTW Have you looked into notepad++ as an alternative to simple notepad or VS Code as a editor.
