Nvidia or AMD? - GPUs

When building your own rig, do you prefer AMD (Radeon) graphics cards, or Nvidia (Geforce) graphics cards?

I started off as an AMD Radeon X user, but more recently became a Nvidia geek after my initial upgrade to the GTX1080. Since then I've been hooked and thoroughly enjoying my latest RTX upgrade 😎

What about you? Do you prefer AMD or Nvidia GPUs?

More seriously, I never owned an AMD graphics card, so I could not say which I 'prefer' between AMD and Nvidia.

Much more important would be the use case of the computer.

If you want raytracing and better performance overall go with Nvidia.
If you want good resolution and cheaper go with AMD.
Both of them are very good GPUs.
