CSS repeat a table

I am using repeat region to display database results in a table
this results in all tables under each other
But I want 2 columns of tables
just as seen on https://www.mastercar.be/classiccars.php
How do I get this done in CSS?
This site was built years ago for PHP version 5.
I now have to upgrade the entire site for php 7, but many of the dreamweaver extensions I used back then are outdated and no longer exist.
They advised me to use css for this, hence my question.

you can forget php for the visual design.
And what has the whole thing to do with Dreamweaver and its extensions?

But I don't understand what you want at all. Just a table with 2 columns?
Why don't you use tables for that?

i use adobe dreamweaver to create my sites. In the old versions I had extensions (add-ons) that I could use to code things.
In the newer version of dreamweaver they are no longer supported. I am advised to do this now via css.
So I have a table with content in it, from a database.
to display all results, the table is repeated. That works.
but all tables are one below the other.
So I want them to be placed next to each other as on https://www.mastercar.be/classiccars.php and not as on

i used your grid, but it doesn't create columns.
There must be another black table next to every black table with blue content.
so that I have 2 columns
and the necessary number of rows

I think the problem is that only 1 table is created, but the repeat code repeats it, so only 1 <div> </div>

look at my example again, the grid code belongs in a superordinate div that contains the elements that should be displayed as 2 columns


you put the gridcode in the table, what exactly is that supposed to do?
The table only shows the information of the cars

also why do the divs have a variable id that is not difinated?
