Twilio Programmable Chat to Conversations

Hi Guys,
In July Twilio are changing their api. Apparently we need to update our code to accommodate (its for a simple dating app with voice messaging and text). Our developer is quoting 30 days to do it. Does this sound right? It seems excessive.

It really depends on what Twilio is changing, do you have the release article or know what exactly is changing?
