I think making an App that is a video sharing site should be pretty easy. I have some outlines and plans to create this.
The difficulty in this is monetization for hosting and content moderation.
The monetization can be handled by advertising. I'm not sure what Vimeo is doing with charging it's users hefty fees.
Content moderation can make use of A.I. to explain any problems with an upload. I have other ideas of having authorities or law enforcement looking over the questionable content as they are exposed to this in their work anyway. There could also be extremely low resolution for questionable content that can be upscaled if needed to gain a clearer view.
If someone is looking for a project I can pretty much consult the process on demand and I'm sure the community here can produce an effective product that will be new and useful to internet users.
