C# Visual Studio "Windows Forms App" is C#?

I am curious why "Windows Forms App" cannot be C/C++?
I am currently using Visual Studio learning "Windows Forms App".
Should I not bother with understanding the difference between C#/C/C++ as I am a beginner?
For instance this website explains the differences between C#/C/C++ although seems to be beyond my beginner level.

C# interop parses the variables from C/C++ via Load library from your .cpp Dll or .C
I was looking for visual user interface designer that was compatible with Windows OS, Linux, and Mac on desktop.
Visual studio still supports Visual-C++ Windows forms Visual Designer, C#, and VB.NET

So I have a question myself: where did you hear/read that Windows Form Apps cannot be developed in C/C++?
