Hello Coders,

I was just thinking to myself and was wondering that when using a line break in HTML you can either use
or
but my question is what's the difference between them?

There is no
.
You can either use
or
.
Both will have same effect when rendered.

The second one is with a slash as br tag is a self closing tag. But in HTML 5, the requirement to add a slash for self closing tags was removed. So, now we can safely use just
.
