How useful are cursive text styles for social media?

Hello everyone.

I’ve been experimenting with different cursive text styles for social media profiles and posts, and I’m curious how other people use them. There seem to be quite a few options, from simple italic lettering to more decorative handwritten and script styles.

I’m mainly interested in using them for Instagram bios, captions, and perhaps WhatsApp status updates without making the text difficult to read. Do you think cursive text actually helps a profile stand out, or does it sometimes look too decorative?

Which styles do you find easiest to read and most useful for everyday posts?
