  • Guest, before posting your code please take these rules into consideration:
    • It is required to use our BBCode feature to display your code. While within the editor click < / > or >_ and place your code within the BB Code prompt. This helps others with finding a solution by making it easier to read and easier to copy.
    • You can also use markdown to share your code. When using markdown your code will be automatically converted to BBCode. For help with markdown check out the markdown guide.
    • Don't share a wall of code. All we want is the problem area, the code related to your issue.

    GIF shows where to locate </> in the thread and or post editor toolbar.
    To learn more about how to use our BBCode feature, review our "How to post your code into threads" here.

    Thank you, Code Forum.

HTML & CSS Choosing when scrolling down the page

Hello,

I made header settings on my website. Header normally appears full page. I have limited it to 1200px and set margin:0 auto as you will see below.

However, when scrolling the site down with the scroll bar, it selects all pages. It's like I'm making a selection with the mouse. Can you show me where I went wrong?

CSS:
.p-header {max-width:1200px;margin:0 auto;width:100%;}
.p-staffBar  {max-width:1200px;margin:0 auto;width:100%;}
.p-sectionLinks {max-width:1200px;margin:0 auto;width:100%;border-bottom:1px solid #d1d1d1;
border-bottom-right-radius:6px;border-bottom-left-radius:6px;box-shadow:rgba(0, 0, 0, .1) 0 1px 2px 0;
padding:2px 0 2px 0;display:block;}
.p-navSticky {max-width:1200px;margin:0 auto;width:100%;display:block;}
