  • Guest, before posting your code please take these rules into consideration:
    • It is required to use our BBCode feature to display your code. While within the editor click < / > or >_ and place your code within the BB Code prompt. This helps others with finding a solution by making it easier to read and easier to copy.
    • You can also use markdown to share your code. When using markdown your code will be automatically converted to BBCode. For help with markdown check out the markdown guide.
    • Don't share a wall of code. All we want is the problem area, the code related to your issue.

    GIF shows where to locate </> in the thread and or post editor toolbar.
    To learn more about how to use our BBCode feature, review our "How to post your code into threads" here.

New Coder
Hello, im new in js so please dont be hard on me. Spend more that 5 hours and still no clue.

So issue is that script goes fullscreen as expected but cannot figure out how to trigger "ESC" or same button to close fullscreen.

.holds-the-iframe just adds loader before iframe is loaded.

HTML:
<div class="holds-the-iframe"><iframe id="game" style="width:1000px;height:700px;border:0;" allowfullscreen="true" msallowfullscreen="true" mozallowfullscreen="true" webkitallowfullscreen="true" sandbox="allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-scripts allow-pointer-lock allow-orientation-lock allow-popups" src="https://randomurl.com/">
</iframe></div>

HTML:
<button onclick="makeFullscreen('game');">[ ]</button>

JavaScript:
function makeFullscreen(id){
        var el = document.getElementById(id);
        el.style = "position:fixed; top:0px; left:0px; bottom:0px; right:0px; width:100%; height:100%; border:none; margin:0; padding:0; overflow:hidden; z-index:999999;"
  }

First do not use inline styling, make two classes and set the style for normal in one and full screen in the other.
Your button is OK, you don't need to send anything to the function.
Your CSS:
.fullScreen{
