C++ Cows and Bulls Game C++ PC Guessing

Hello, I found this (functioning) piece of code for the game Cows and Bulls. How do I change it, so that the computer is the one guessing those 4 numbers? Also, when I type in more than 4 numbers, the program crashes (because of the second condition in the for loop), how do I change that (there could be something like "Invalid input" instead)? Plus, the last question, what do int i and int secret in the for loops do exactly? I'm a total beginner and this code seemed to be the most understandable (for me) of all I was able to find online. Thanks alot!
