How do I remove my info from: fastpeoplesearch.io?

Would Cloudflare or Godaddy be able to do anything?

Hosting Details: Site is hosted through Cloudflare and registered with GoDaddy.
Try the emails in the screenshot I provided here, otherwise, you're going to have to create a temp social media account and get their attention there

But that's just a different company.

They are going to tell the other company to fix its form because it is broken?

I should tell them what?

The form on here is broken:

Remove My Info | FastPeopleSearch

Can you tell them to fix it please.

There are companies that will opt you out and have your data removed...might be an avenue you might want to look into, before you go knocking it lol. We're giving you suggestions. You asked me what I would do in similar situations, and I would be doing the same things people have been suggesting, and looking for all ways, even if it means using other services to do so...so you're right on track, unless you want to ignore any suggestions lol

GoDaddy told me to contact Cloudflare.

From GoDaddy:
It appears only the domain is registered through GoDaddy and their hosted with Cloudflare: https://hostingchecker.com I'd recommend contacting them about the content on the website.

Well...how about telling them the reason you are even going through this trouble in the first place... to remove your data from said site, right?

I thought because it said "Security Analyst" that you would be able to reach them or get in contact with them or something.

or, at the very least, be able to notify them that their removal form is broken.

From Optery:

It seems there is a misunderstanding. This is Optery.com, and we are not affiliated with FastPeopleSearch. For any concerns regarding their website, we recommend contacting their customer support directly, as we are unable to assist with this matter. Based on their website, the only way to reach their support team is via email at [email protected].

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and I’m sorry to hear that you’ve had no response after reaching out to [email protected] for several weeks. Unfortunately, some data brokers, including Fast People Search, are known for being slow or unresponsive.

We recommend continuing to contact them via email and looking for any additional contact details on their website, such as a mailing address or alternative email, that might allow you to escalate the request.

Don't hesitate to reach out if you have additional questions or feedback.

To clarify, we are not affiliated with FastPeopleSearch and, unfortunately, cannot assist with issues related to their website or removal process. For concerns like a defective removal form, we recommend reaching out to their support team directly.

Based on the information available on their website, the only way to contact their customer support is via email at [email protected]. We understand your frustration if they are not responding and suggest reaching out to them persistently for assistance.

This situation is beyond the scope of our services. At Optery, we invest significant resources in developing proprietary opt-out methods, including how we handle situations like this. Unfortunately, we are unable to share the specifics of these methods.

It’s worth noting that it is not uncommon for data brokers to be unresponsive for several months. If you’re attempting to address this on your own, we recommend continuing to reach out to them persistently.

Thank you for sharing and bringing this to our attention. We sincerely appreciate your input. Rest assured, we have forwarded this information to the team for review and consideration. If there’s anything else you’d like to share, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Defintely! Will reach out to you for an update.

Don't hesitate to reach out if you have additional questions or feedback. Thank you.

You seem to be a bit confused as to what the function of security analyst is. As a security analyst for Code Forum, my end goal is to ensure the online safety and security of this platform and of our users. This is done by analyzing every snippet of code, every link, every file uploaded to ensure that there are no malicious intents behind them. The platform is carefully analyzed to ensure there are no risks of any sort of vulnerabilities that may lead to a hack, or a distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack that would bring down the platform, as there have been in the past. As far as individual users go, it is not the responsibility of Code Forum to keep track of or to intervene for a user should their data be found on outside platforms; This responsibility falls squarely on the user themselves. The only time I will conduct a full investigation on a user, is when there is enough suspicion from other staff members that a particular user may not be following our code of conduct properly to ensure that this is not a recurring pattern, or I organically come across a suspicious snippet of code, suspicious link, or if I suspect that the user's questions have a malicious intent to them. At this point, I will conduct the investigation and may reach out to other platforms inquiring on said user once the preliminary details have been discussed and I have full authorization to do so. When it comes to users' leaked data, I would reach out... if it was my own data.

It doesn't seem like Optery is able to do anything.

Is there anything you recommend I say in response to this?

As a reply back to the email.

From Optery:

Thank you for reaching out to us with your concerns about FastPeopleSearch.io. We understand how frustrating it can be to deal with a site that refuses to fix its removal form or respond to inquiries.

Unfortunately, FastPeopleSearch.io is known for being particularly difficult to work with in terms of removals. While it’s possible that their removal form was intentionally defective from the start or that they have chosen not to prioritize fixing it, we can’t confirm their intentions or internal decisions.

When a data broker like FastPeopleSearch.io does not cooperate with removal requests, either through broken systems or lack of responsiveness, it poses significant challenges. However, as a company dedicated to privacy protection, we have strategies to address these obstacles:

Best Effort Removals: For difficult cases like this, we attempt alternate methods of contacting the site or work through any loopholes in their opt-out process. This includes regularly checking for updates to their systems.

Escalation: For Ultimate Plan users, we offer custom removals, which allow us to focus on unsupported data brokers or especially challenging cases. While success is not guaranteed, we make every effort to engage with these sites on behalf of our customers.

Monitoring and Advocacy: Even when an opt-out cannot be achieved immediately, we continue to monitor the situation and update our strategies as changes occur in the data broker landscape.

We agree with you that it’s alarming how accessible personal information can be on sites like this. Your concerns emphasize the importance of our work in helping individuals protect their privacy.

If you are already an Ultimate Plan user or considering upgrading, we can prioritize this case under our custom removals process. Please let us know if you’d like more information on how we can proceed. We're here to support you in safeguarding your personal information.

Thank you for trusting us to assist you. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have further questions or concerns.

Don't hesitate to reach out if you have additional questions or feedback.

Thank you,

As a reply back to the email.

From Optery:
I mean, not much you can really say...and not much you can really do at this point. You've done all the right steps... just continue to hammer them with emails, or if you can find a phone number, continue to call them until someone competent replies. Other than that, as I mentioned before, there's really not much I, any other staff member, or anyone in the community can do for you other than just advice you.
