HTML & CSS Keyboard Appears Then disappears on Mobile Browser when selecting an Text Box

Hello

I don't know if anyone can assist with the problem I'm having. I've created a website for a local sport league and have some forms such as submit Result Card. The form works fine on a PC, however when someone tries to use a Mobile Device, the drop Down Menus work fine but when the select a Free Text Box (such as Email Address), the Keyboard pops up then disappears, the page refreshes and resets everything.

Is there a way in which I can stop the keyboard from disappearing so text can be entered

One of the pages with this issue is www.stroudskittles.co.uk/mixed.php

Thanks

You do not declare a doc type. This tells browsers how to decode the html. Without it the browsers guess at what you want displayed.

And then you commit a cardinal sin by using tables for your layout This has been discouraged since 2000. It's no wonder why browsers are a little wonkie trying to figure out your code. I suggest you learn modern HTML/CSS and redo your site. It should use less code and load faster.

A question: When I ran your code I could not get any images to load. I tried a number of methods, but no results. Why is that?

PS: You also has far too much javascript for so simple a page.

So if I'm correct I need to put <!DOCTYPE html> in the title

You're right I need to change the code from HTML to CSS for the tables, I'll have to get on and modify that.

not sure why the images aren't loading I see them fine.

Will look into the javascript as well to see what I can remove, is it better to use PHP (I do need to tidy the site up, it's been a while since I did any real work on it)

Thanks

Javascript and PHP are implemented in two different places and basically do different things.
Most importantly, redisign the pages to not use tables. Use DIVs. Look into CSS-GRID. Join the Twenty First Century of programmers.
