Need help troubleshooting JMeter Interview Questions

Hello everyone,

I'm preparing for an upcoming interview and I'm having some difficulties troubleshooting a few JMeter interview questions. I went through this reference and am still in doubt..I was hoping someone would be willing to help me out.

I'm having trouble with the following code:

ThreadGroup threadGroup = new ThreadGroup();
threadGroup.setName("Example Thread Group");
threadGroup.setNumThreads(5);
threadGroup.setRampUp(1);
threadGroup.setScheduler(true);
threadGroup.setDuration(0);


JMeterContext ctx = JMeterContextService.getContext();
JMeterVariables vars = ctx.getVariables();

I'm not sure what this code is doing, so if anyone could provide an explanation, that would be great.

I assume this is Java? That seems to be calling methods that are not present in the standard Java API ThreadGroup class. Are you using some other library?
