  • Guest, before posting your code please take these rules into consideration:
    • It is required to use our BBCode feature to display your code. While within the editor click < / > or >_ and place your code within the BB Code prompt. This helps others with finding a solution by making it easier to read and easier to copy.
    • You can also use markdown to share your code. When using markdown your code will be automatically converted to BBCode. For help with markdown check out the markdown guide.
    • Don't share a wall of code. All we want is the problem area, the code related to your issue.

GIF shows where to locate </> in the thread and or post editor toolbar.
To learn more about how to use our BBCode feature, review our "How to post your code into threads" here.

Rust all platforms GUI?

JosiahMaybe

Rust language as of 5/25/2026 has no GUI lib with right to left support with 3d easy enough and smart TV stuff. There is iced and egui, one is currently desktop only and the other is left to right only. cosmic-text+lyon_tessellation seems like a great start. I will be getting this working some, but this could be long term to set up everything, I might just get it working bare minimum. I also made linux-mobile-keyboard for this. Basically a thing for all platforms Rust supports with gradient text allowed and good 3d support. Smart TV, VR, web, mobile, desktop, including all Rust supports, maybe smart watch if all goes well is what this will be for. SDL3 works for right to left, but it is not for everything yet. Join me or do it yourself but maybe post that you are doing it. X E.
